Scrum Masters Workbench
Hi,

I'm new to scrum and SfTS. I have installed V3.0 RC templates on to 2010 RC and I tried using the workbench desktop tool, but quite frankly got lost in how I should use it.

Is there any guidance / simple walk through in how to setup a simple team using this tool.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Again,

I did write a blog post about this very thing. See the below link:

This post is little outdated* but still pretty relevant. Make sure you "Bring to front" the "Setup" mode.

* The latest version of the SMW now includes a task board mode. To switch between modes, use the menus and select "Bring to Front".

There is a lot of other informaiton in my blog that may be helpful. Please take a look.

I'm not sure if you are still struggling with this. I find a common mistake is that people will do either the "Project Setup" on the SCRUM Master Workbench, but fail to create the necessary Release, Sprint, & Team Sprint Work Items.

Re: Scrum Masters Workbench
I used the workbench tool to set up a new project and everything created successfully. I set up a team sprint, a sprint, a product backlog item and a sprint backlog item. I entered values for the pbi and sbi. I then burned down some hours on the sbi and ran the burn down chart. The chart creates but it does not show any burn down time. I went and looked at the PBI and the work remaining hours is not populating. Is their something else I need to run.
