Is ScrumForTeamSystem integrated into VS2005?

A few questions before I attempt an installation.
Is ScrumForTeamSystem integrated into VS2005 or is it an additional application?
Does ScrumForTeamSystem support TFS or do you need Team Server?
Can developers mark tasks a complete etc in TFS VS2005 and does ScrumForTeamSystem get updated? I presume it does all all read/write to TFS?
I'm interested in VS2005 right now an we current have a project up and running with MSF for Agile and TFS, can we install ScrumForTeamSystem and then use it to manage the project?
We will be moving to VS2008 in the near future, is it much of an issue to move all to VS2008 or are we better off waiting?

Hi learnerplates
Thank you for your post. The Scrum for Team System is a process template like the process templates that get shipped with Team Foundation Server (MSF for Agile). The template is designed to help you leverage the Team Foundation Server tools for your project when you are using the Scrum methodology to run your project. To be able to use the template it will have to be installed on Team Foundation Server. I would recommend that you update your Team Foundation Server to 2008 first before install Scrum for Team System. Once you have updated then you will be able to use V2.2 and also take advantage of our new tools, including Taskboard for Team System (http://www.scrumforteamsystem.com/en/TaskBoard/default.aspx) which is designed to help manage your scrum sprint work items. Just from skimming the guidance, I noticed some things are handled differently in versions 2.1/2.2.
In addition to the TaskBoad, what are some reasons for upgrading Scrum Templates?
What has changed? terminology? workflow? etc?
Thanks,
Theo

I went to the FAQ's for v2 Process Guidance and it still shows me what's new in 1.2. I was hoping to find what's new in 2.x.
http://scrumforteamsystem.com/ProcessGuidance/v2/FAQ/WhatsNewFAQ.aspx
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Theo
