The task board cannot show custom work item fields. Only custom states are support. I'd like to vote for the ability to add custom fields to the work items in Task Board.  We've added some fields that are required before setting the state of the PBI to Done.  Not allowing us to customize the Work Item screen makes Task Board unusable for closing PBIs.
