Modifying the Template
Hi,
I wonder, could you clarify how would editing your Process Template/Work Item templates etc affect things?
What would we need to consider and keep in mind - would it still be possible to merge these changes into your future versions of the Scrum template?
Thanks

Re: Modifying the Template
We have modified the base template a good bit.  It is quite easy to do if you export the process template. Make and test the changes, then import the items back into your server.

I dont think, however, that any of the changes I've made will be compatible with Scrum 3.0 when we get it for Team System 2010.  So I'm trying to keep a pretty good log of all changes I make and then i will either reapply them or see how 2010 treats things to see if I even need them anymore before we switch to 3.0.

We are messing with 2010 now and I cant wait to see what 3.0 has in store for us.

Re: Modifying the Template
The SfTS v3 template is very different to the v2 edition.

We are currently beta testing our new template against the TFS2010 Beta 1 release.

Expect a big design shake up when it released!
