Symptom: Scrum Task Board Report show an empty column / sprint work item
Cause: SBT’s spread across multiple Sprints
Solution: Upload all the report from the above zip file.
Steps to update the reports: - In Visual Studio on your computer, open your team project report site. This can be accomplished by; Right clicking on the Team Explorer project reports folder and selecting “Show reports site” from the context menu.
- Click on “Show Details” button and select “Edit” icon adjacent to the Sprint Task Board.
- After the report properties have loaded and click "update" under the Report Definition section.
- Then choose the report RDL file from the new reports and click OK.
Steps to upload the reports: - In Visual Studio on your computer, open your team project report site. This can be accomplished by; Right clicking on the Team Explorer project reports folder and selecting “Show reports site” from the context menu.
- Then upload the Sprint Task Board report by clicking on the “Upload file” link. Use the subsequent browse button to select the location of the report on your computer. Once selected, check the Overwrite item if it exists, click the “OK” button to start the upload.
- After the upload has completed, click on “Show Details” button and select “Edit” icon adjacent to the Report
- Within the loaded reports’ properties screen; Click on the “Data Sources” menu option and then the “Browse” button under the TfsReportDS and TfsOlapReportDS to set locations for the following.

- In location box type: / TfsReportDS (when click in TfsReportDS section) and Click the “OK” button.
- In location box type: / TfsOlapReportDS (when click in TfsOlapReportDS section) and Click the “OK” button.
- And finally click the “Apply”.
