PRE-POST NOTE: If there is info on how to buy the Task Board now, then please post a link to it as a reply to this post. I could not find any such info which is what prompted this post.
My team has integrated the Task Board into our daily activities and we would slow down quite a bit without it. Our management has generally approved the idea of buying the Task Board for us. However, I am afraid that the commercial release will not be in time for the purchase to be processed. Having a company buy something is not the same as me pulling out my credit card and putting in the numbers. There are hoops to jump through.
The last I heard about the commercial release was in the "Beta Trial Extension" Post:
"The commercial release of the Task Board
application is on schedule for release early in November. We will
contact our registered users once again when the details are finalised."
As today is the 19th of November, we are past the middle of the month (let alone "early in November").
Now as a software developer, I understand that sometimes release schedules slip and you just can't make it in time. But with 11 days till my beta expires, I am worried that the 25th will be considered "Just In-Time" and that there will not be another beta extension for those who cannot get the wheels of the finance department moving in 5 days.
Please know that I love the Task Board! But I am now addicted to easy info and dread the though of going back to normal TFS for my standups.

Hi Vaccano,
Please be advised that we are nearly there.
Keep an eye on your inbox because some time this week you will receive notice (and a discount voucher code if you've been good!) of the payment options.
Regards,
Crispin Parker, Technical Consultant, Concghango.

Crispin,
I must say I am very disappointed. More than a week after you told me that the commercial release was coming "this week" (which had 3 days left in it at that time), I get notice that the release is ready (Received on Nov 27th at 4:59 AM).
So, it is now Thanksgiving day. Most of the nation will be taking tomorrow off (including most of my purchasing . That means I have exactly 0% chance to purchase the real version in time for my stand up on Monday (Dec 1st).
And, as I mentioned in my previous post, most companies cannot get a purchase order through in a day (some not even in a week).
This was a LATE release. Not my fault at all, but I am going to have to pay for your lateness because I trusted that you would not leave me out in the cold like this.
Despite this, I am hooked on Task Board and will just have to try to get my company to purchase it as quick as I can. Until then I guess I am heading back to Visual Studio.
I guess I will have to be careful before adopting products from you in the future.

What is your problem?
There will be no interruption to your task
board service as we have upgraded your beta account to TRIAL level, so
you can still create trial license files. Admittedly, you will need to
open a web page and click a few buttons which I appreciate may be a
little tricky.
If you only knew how much work, time and effort I
and the rest of the team have put into the task board application and
getting the commercial release to go live. You would then know how
disappointed we are in this kind of short sighted indigent response.
This
software is a beta trial. We are under no obligation to ensure that
your service is uninterrupted. However, we have (at every opportunity)
ensured that the beta accounts and their associated license files have
stayed valid and active. How many times in your use of the beta
software has your service been interrupted?
I stand by our
record. We have released the full product before the expiration of the
beta (which was our choice not obligation). We have enabled our beta
users to create additional trial licenses while they transition to the
commercial release. We have offered our beta users financial discounts
on the commercial product.
If this is insufficient service, then I suggest you find an alternative vendor for you agile methodology tools.
I guess we should be more cautious about who we allow to test our software.
Crispin Parker.

I must eat some humble pie here (guess it will go down well with the turkey).
I did not know that you had enabled the beta users to create trial licenses while they transition to the commercial release.
I apologize for my comments. They were in frustration that such a method was not made. (When I just had not found out about it.)
I love the task board. It is a great tool that has made using scrum a lot easier.
Sorry again for stupid and uniformed post.
