Task Board Commercial Release - Nearly Ready!

Hello to all Task Board Beta testers,
As you are no doubts aware, the beta testing period for the Task Board for Team System is about to expire (30th November 2008). We have been very busy working on the commercial release which was planned to be live several weeks ago! Unfortunately, the wording of the EULA and unexpected legalities are holding up the release.
The new [task board app] version is ready to go and will be published as soon as the lawyers have given the green light. So while we are waiting I thought I would explain what is going to happen in regards to licensing.
Discount Vouchers
Discount vouchers are unique keys that can be used to claim a discount in conjunction with online purchases of Account Tokens. Vouchers can only be used in a single transaction and once redeemed, cannot be used again.
Beta tester contributors will receive email notification of the discount they have been awarded (if any) in the next two days. The level of discount awarded is in relation to the feedback you provided during the beta test period. So for those of you who really got stuck in and helped, you should get a nice surprise!
Account Tokens
Account Tokens are unique key values that allow you create (or upgrade to) a FULL license account. Tokens are purchased via the online payment web site and emailed to the purchaser. A single token can only be associated to a single account and once a token is associated it cannot be used again.

Commercial License Accounts
The new commercial License Account structure will have two types of account: TRIAL and FULL.
TRIAL accounts are free to set up and entitle the account holder to create license files that expire 30 days after trial account creation date.
FULL accounts are paid for and allow the account holder to create license files that do not expire. Trial accounts can be upgraded to full accounts by using a purchased account token.
All the existing beta accounts have already been upgraded to trial accounts. This means that you can still logon and create license files with the same credentials that you used to create you’re beta testing license account.
A note on task board beta versions and existing license files:
The format of the license file used by the Beta versions of the task board is no longer valid. This means that as of 30th November 2008 any beta version task board applications will no-longer work. In order to continue using the [task board] application, you will need to download and install the latest version from the web site. This also means that any existing license files you have created will also become invalid and you will have to create new ones.

Closure of the beta forum
As from Monday next week (1st December 2008) the Task Board beta forum will become read-only. A new Task Board support forum will be made available for those wishing to make feature suggestions and ask for assistance. The closure of the Beta forum is dependent on the successful commercial release this week.
