Hi Ben,
I have just answered your email query on the same subject. Just in case any other users are experiencing the same problem here is the text of the correspondence.
Hi Ben,
An application hang [during the
resolution of the iteration paths] should not be anything to do with the new
License File. License validation is complete when the task board application
displays the “Licensed to: “ message in the lower right hand corner of the UI.
A bug in a previous build caused
a hang when resolving iteration paths. This only occurred when the user had to
enter authentication details through the task board. Is this the situation in
your environment?
We will need to investigate
further, please provide information on:
·
Task Board app
version
·
OS version
·
Any relevant event
log errors
·
Task Board event log
(see below)
Enable Task Board logging:
1. Close any running task board application instances
2. Create an empty file on your system*:
C:\TBfTSEvent.log
3. Open the application configuration file in a text editor
C:\Program
Files\Conchango\SfTSv2TaskBoard\app\Conchango.TeamSystem.TaskBoard.WpfUI.exe.config
4. Change lines:
<setting
name="LogFilePath" serializeAs="String">
<value></value>
</setting>
To
read:
<setting
name="LogFilePath" serializeAs="String">
<value>c:\TBfTSEvent.log</value>
</setting>
5. Save the file
6.
Re-launch the Task
Board application and repeat steps required to cause the application lock.
* Note: Depending on the
security settings of your operating system, you may need to set access
permissions on the new log file. Giving the “Everyone” group full
control over the file is the easiest solution.
