This sortorder should not be influenced by which item was 'touched' last (or updated), but be based on the deliveryorder+priority . That way, I know I can start work on the item in the Top-left corner first, without having to hover my mouse over every available SPI in my BPI, and determine which item has the highest priority (or should be delivered first, funny how those do not allways match) "Anything one man can imagine, other men can make real." - Jules Verne.    Report

The task board application respects this priority and uses it to sort the items in the state containers. Setting the task priority will enable you set the sort order of your items.
