I am upgrading TFS 2005 to 2008 and am having problems migrating the databases. I already uninstalled Scrum from TFS 2005 but there appears to be some crud left over - sharepoint sites that no longer work and stuff in teh warehouse etc.
Is there some way to completelky remove all traces of Scrum.
FYI - nothning wrong with Scrum but we are just not using it :(
Thanks

Hi Jonesie,
There are a few problems with the SfTS 1.2 SharePoint installation that stop it from working after an upgrade to WSS 3.0.
The bellow link details how to get the sharepoint sites working again:

Once the sites are repaired, it should be easier to remove them.
Uninstalling the template does not remove existing projects (like removing the fax template from word will not not delete a document you created based on it). However, you can manully delete projects by using the TfsDeleteProject utility provide by Microsoft:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms181482.aspx
Unfortunatly, due to the way TFS works, once you add new field definitions to the tfs warehouse you can't remove them. This means that even after removing all the projects there will still be fields relating to the SfTS template in your data tables.
