Percentage of work the first and last day

We usually make progress in sprints with a duration of 4 weeks. The first day - always a Monday-, we don’t implement any SBIs, because we have our planning - and sprint meeting. Likewise the last day –always a Friday- we don’t implement any SBIs, because we have our review - and retrospective meeting.
In project with sprints with a duration of two weeks we also “burn” some work a half day the first and a half day the last day. “Shorter sprints need less planning and reviewing”.
In both cases we have some difficulties to chose the right start and end date in Scrum4TFS.
Case 1: The real start and end dates (Monday and Friday)
=========================================================
*Sprints with a duration of 4 weeks
Our burndown chart start with the right amount of work but the forecast based on capacity will be wrong, because the graph also includes the first and last day.
* Sprints with a duration of 2 weeks
Our burndown chart start with the wrong amount of work, because the work done the first day will be extracted. Also the forecast based on capacity will be slightly wrong, because the graph also includes the full first and last day.
Case 2: The real start + 1 and the real end date - 1 (Tuesday and Thursday)
=========================================================
*Sprints with a duration of 4 weeks
Our burndown chart start with the wrong amount of work, because the work done the first day will be extracted. The forecast will be correct.
* Sprint with a duration of 2 weeks
We can’t burn the first and last day
Case 3: The real start and the real end date -1 (Monday and Thursday)
=========================================================
*Sprints with a duration of 4 weeks
Our burndown chart start with the right amount of work but the forecast based on capacity will be wrong, because the graph also includes the first day.
* Sprints with a duration of 2 weeks
Our burndown chart start with the wrong amount of work, because the work done the first day will be extracted. And we can’t burn the last day
How do you chose your start and end date ?
The feature request below could solve our problem:
As a scrummaster, I want to set the percentage of work that my team will do the first and last day of a sprint, so that the burndown chart can display a more correct situation.

Excellent points made above. The current TFS warehouse only works in day sized blocks, so adding finer granularity to the reports would be difficult. The idea of weighting the first and last day is a good one and I'll pass it on to our scrum masters to see if they concur that it would be a viable inclusion. Creating the UI in SQL Reporting Services to allow you to specify the wieghting would be an interesting challenge!
Thanks for the idea and keep them comming.
