Team Project version 2.0 (Beta and RTM) to v2.1 Upgrade Process

After the new Scrum for Team System Version 2.1 template has been installed all existing Team Projects can be upgraded to get the benefits of the improvements made in the template itself and the reports between v2.0 and v2.1.

To assist with process we have developed a tool to automate this process which can be found in the Tools folder under your chosen installation folder (Default: C:\Program Files\Conchango\Scrum for Team System).

To upgrade a project you will need to provide a minimum of the URI of the Team Foundation Server and the name of the Team Project. An Example is shown below:


Here is an example of the upgrade process console output:
